A FREE REPUBLIC MARRIAGE ANNOUNCEMENT
Vanity | September 6, 2005 | Dr. Eckleburg & FRiends

Posted on 09/05/2005 10:58:21 PM PDT by Dr. Eckleburg

"Who is there who speaks and it comes to pass,
Unless the Lord has commanded it?" -- Lamentations 3:37

I would like to join my FRiends at Free Republic in congratulating the newest married couple to have been brought together as a result of their conversations on Free Republic.

CaRepubGal and Wrigley became Mr. and Mrs. Wrigley on August 19, 2005, in the Presbyterian Church of CaGal's hometown near San Diego, California. The wedding was attended by many family and friends, including the former FReeper, Jean Chauvin, and his wife and children, who traveled across the country to participate in the ceremony. The couple became engaged last Christmas and are planning on making their new home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Let no one say God is not without a sense of irony. One of the main reasons bringing CaGal and Wrigley together was the fact that they were both banned from Free Republic. If they hadn't been banished, most likely they wouldn't have struck up a private conversation which led directly to their union. Obviously CaGal and Wrigley were meant to become one.

"Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like-minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God." -- Romans 15:5-7

Please join us in congratulating CaGal and Wrigley and wishing them a long and bountiful life together as loving servants of His gracious will.

our members seem to have refined the process...

Not so, mon ami; why take credit for the unfolding plan? It was scripted.

God uses Free Republic as the internet addicted match maker it seems :)

You're the only one of your group who seems to have it right.

And you're just a newbie. :>)

I feel slighted...and jealous. What? We can share our battles but not our joys?

Why weren't all of us invited, we could have brought our own snacks? I could have worn my MOAB (toga style), dougfromupland could have composed a song, posters, special chants and taunts after for the in-laws...

The missed opportunity...sigh...

May the Lord keep you and your household as Joseph and Mary were kept by him. God Bless

I'm sorry, but whenever I see this phrase I can't help but picture monkeys in mitres.

Best regards to the happy couple.

I blame you for this.

As well you should. It really is amazing how much havoc I can wreak. You know, I never pause or even sleep in my ongoing quest to destroy America utterly. And it's quite a task even with Karl's help.

Thanks for the good news. Banished together. At least they have that going for them which is more than most have in common today.
