Unless the Lord has commanded it?" -- Lamentations 3:37
I would like to join my FRiends at Free Republic in congratulating the newest married couple to have been brought together as a result of their conversations on Free Republic.
CaRepubGal and Wrigley became Mr. and Mrs. Wrigley on August 19, 2005, in the Presbyterian Church of CaGal's hometown near San Diego, California. The wedding was attended by many family and friends, including the former FReeper, Jean Chauvin, and his wife and children, who traveled across the country to participate in the ceremony. The couple became engaged last Christmas and are planning on making their new home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Let no one say God is not without a sense of irony. One of the main reasons bringing CaGal and Wrigley together was the fact that they were both banned from Free Republic. If they hadn't been banished, most likely they wouldn't have struck up a private conversation which led directly to their union. Obviously CaGal and Wrigley were meant to become one.
"Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like-minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God." -- Romans 15:5-7
Please join us in congratulating CaGal and Wrigley and wishing them a long and bountiful life together as loving servants of His gracious will.
THANKS.
CONGRATS.

Wow...nasty comment...
I guess your profile page is right on.
Maybe they were banned for being too lovey dovey. You can't argue politics too well when you have to call the other "pookie." Congrats
No PDA on this board!
The complaining at the time was wrong-headed. In fact, your insistence that "One of the main reasons bringing CaGal and Wrigley together was the fact that they were both banned from Free Republic. " is also misdirected according to your perspective. I'm pretty sure that even the word "irony" is out of place.
You kicked against, and railed (and continue to do so) against what you should have been saying was "the plan."
Or as the one guy said, "...Glad that's over with."
Congratulations to the pre-planned couple.
Whoo hooo!
Jim, this is all your fault! Or Bush's... ;)
Just get into a flame war.
Banishment guaranteed.
;)
LOL! The banishment brought them together? Awwwwwwwwww.

God uses Free Republic as the internet addicted match maker it seems :)
May God bless them and keep them !
First - Congratulations to the happy couple!
***And where did they go...LP,FU,CP, or to some other anti-FR site? Let those people wish them well.***
How generous of you, you really do lack mercy... your name fits you well !
They were not banned for political thought , both are conservative Republicans .
