Jesse Jackson... This WHITE woman in Texas has been with 400 of the newest residents to our fine town the last 24 hours since they arrived in our city.

I have hugged them, cried with them, prayed with them, changed diapers, feed families, single people, drug addicts, criminals, children who have lost their parents, wiped young mommas tears, listened to their stories of the last 7 days. We have clothed them opened our hearts and homes to them......

They are now 900 miles from N.O. in West Texas and almost all of them said, they love the people here and the weather and the wide open spaces of our vast lands. One told me we have enough room to put 50 Superdomes in our great state.... and the sky is so bright with stars and new hope......

SO JESSE JACKSON.... This white person from Lubbock Tx has ZERO tolerance for your words and lack of knowlege of what people from the great state of Texas will be doing with these people of God. And yes, a few of them were the ones that had new luggage with them and brand new nikes. However my community has turned the other cheek and is doing what Jesus told us to do.

I think a lot of the evacuees from NO are going to be surprised at how they are treated in the outside world. They have been given such a bill of crap about the "white world" being against them that I think this might be a real eye-opener. And that is why Jesse is so worried.

Amen! Jesse would be so distressed! We have 200....now down to 60....here. Where are they going? To jobs in Dallas, Atlanta, or to relatives out of state. The little family that I've been most involved with are leaving tomorrow for Houston. And guess what? I have not talked to anybody that wants to return to NO. Sorry Jesse!! LOL

J.Jackass knows that if the black community finally see the light, he's a goner!! These folks have to realize that the white republican ain't the boogie man, Jackass has made us out to be. Though I fear once a democrat always a democrat with these folks. They could alter election results here. Our generosity could easy turn out to be a living nightmare!! Texas is already strapped financially in the Education section, so I don't know what's going to happen if they decide to stay. Jobs are tough to find as well and Texas is struggling to pay off some debts. I just hope N.O. rebounds quickly and becomes a productive city for them.

I was told that they will be in here for 2 weeks, then given an account with money in it for them to go where-ever they want. I am not so sure if that is great idea, but it was a fair amount of money.
