I think every grocery store in America should start selling MRE's for $10-15 a piece - with proceeds going to the Red Cross for food, etc.
Trade A Meal -- Eat like an evacuee for a day so they can eat like you do.
Uhh no thanks had my share of mre's already.
They aren't terrible... but 6 months of them will get pretty old for these folks.
belive it or not I love the Idea..... the vast majorty of the population should exprience the MRE exprince for 1 day. I did them in the military... when you are hungary they are great, but I still think your Idea is great.
You must be selling them, because they normally only run $4 each.
Thanks - thats what I think. People would stand in line to buy them - knowing that proceeds would go to help the evacuees. A good object lesson for your family.
The point is that the difference($5+) would go to the victims of the disaster. No, I'm not selling them.
Regarding the refugee who complained about them and said she hadn't had any "hot" food for days... obviously she's illiterate or needs to RTFM. They heat up quite nicely if you follow the directions, no heat source required.
Only if they bring back the omelette with ham and the corned beef hash, my two favorites of all time. The new ones arent bad, alot more choices but I had my fill of them in Iraq.
No thanks, got the MRE t-shirt thank you very much. Brought some home and fed them to the family. They say no thaanks too.
Only if the proceeds goes to any other organization besides the Red Cross.
