Its the same as other teams, they schedule what they think are easy wins years in advance gambling on that their team at that time will be good enough to win. Look at the OU v. TCU game. OU lost a lot of offensive players from last year, so an easy win turned into a hard lose at home.

Yeah...I tried to find a thread that was on FR a little while ago...Nebraska rejected a deal from the University of Houston to play 2 games....couldn't find it in archive.
