Sadly.....having worked at United Way, I know that this is true.....It is human nature to look for a reason NOT to give......
Kanye West may have supplied at least one reason... He may be responsible for much suffering that would not have occurred... He should fall to his knees and pray for forgiveness.....
Why would he believe that the President of the United States does not care about those that happen to be black?

I seem to recall a speaker at the Republican convention who said he was encouraged to run for office in a small Texas town by a young George W. Bush. W. was his campaign manager and they worked their tails off in the campaign.
The candidate was a black man and was the first black man to run for public office in that town.
I do not recall the man's name.
