Mike Myers asked people to donate...then Kanye West went on a tirade about Iraq, Mike Myers said something else, and then Kanye says "GEORGE BUSH DOESN'T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE!"

Sometimes the problem is not with the government, this is true, citizens are just too "hardheaded" sometimes.
The part where West says Bush doesn't care about black people was edited out, but the first part of his rant remained.
I was also watching when i heard Kayne West deliver his ethnocentric thoughts, and was very offended by his comments.
He certainly had no right to begin politicizing a fundraising program. I know hundreds of other Americans have also been offended by his comments, butI hope Kayne West's foolishness doesn't make them reconsider donating money to victims who are in need.
Please do donate, and don't let Mr. West affect your decision in any way.
Crap like this will incite riots, and yet the media will STILL blame the President.
Personally I won't give a thin dime to the Red Cross after the moneygrubbing vanishing act they did after 9/11. Too many other trustwirthy charities.

I've seen the REd Cross several times on various media.
Each time they had set up curbside donation stops.
They're efficient in making money.
With 9/11 they were foolish enough to publicly state how they would spend the money - on their own infrastructure.

Does West and all these people screaming rascist know that NO is like predominatley black? Who else is going to be in a world of hurt during this if the population consists mainly of a particular race. West is one of the reasons the "victim" mentality survives in the black neighborhoods.
I think the guy from FEMA is going to have his head handed to him by the Pres. I think he really screwed this up. Bush is taking a lot of heat because this guy dropped the ball. The political figures in LA are just a disgrace. They have really left their people to fend for themselves. Even the FEMA guy said he could get info from the locals in charge. What the hell is up with that? I agree with what W had to say this morning. "the results so far are unexceptable!" Many people are going to have to answer for the inadequate response time.

The Dems and the MSM have spent hundreds of millions of dollars to get people to believe that. There are many, many black people that do believe it.

Look, people see what they want to see. Kanye West said what he said because he is a racist, period. White people should not apologize or set up any tour in order to get Kanye West to love them. I am not going to apologize for the statements or actions of black people I don't know to a racist white people to change his or her mind.
And I believe Newsweek or Time had him on their cover recently.
