Like it or not, these idiots are the face of black America today. Respectable black America needs to organize a "You don't speak for me tour."

The "face of black America"? What does that even mean? What is the face of white America?

Look, people see what they want to see. Kanye West said what he said because he is a racist, period. White people should not apologize or set up any tour in order to get Kanye West to love them. I am not going to apologize for the statements or actions of black people I don't know to a racist white people to change his or her mind.

Kanye West is to most thoughtful blacks what Cindy Sheehan is to most thoughtful whites.

No one self-important, hate filled loudmouth represents a whole racial group.

However, a network and an organization can choose to let an individual represent them by not condemning an outrage uttered on their dime.

Your points are intellectually correct. The problem is that most of what we see in the media is blacks demanding, criticizing and complaining. This is tremendously destructive to race relations. The problem is really the media, which, needing controversy to survive, won't give the time of day to the overwhelming majority of blacks who are responsible, intelligent and hard-working.

It is absolutely rediculous to think anyone needs to apologize for some other dumb a$$. I would like to think the people here at FR are more intelligent than that.

We all know when an idiot says something this absurd they are talking out of their backsides and should basically just ignore it. If we let racist behavior like this fool's sway our opinions we are no better than he is. More of us need to remember that.
