I understand he's already in the running for a Presidential Medal of Freedom for broadcasting for so long despite the lack of his usual elaborate makeup.
Greta is a queen of misery, and trying to boost the efforts of her fellow Scientologists.
I noticed just the oppisite over on CNN
It was all doom and gloom and now it is things are moving and in gear help is here.
Laura was just on saying kids that have been relocated are signing up for schools and parents for work.
This is on TV? They haven't broken into my soaps yet....
Greta is just sad that the world is paying attention to this 'minor' story instead of the much more important story about that missing blonde.
Personally, I'm tired of Greta. If she reminds us again, that the evacuees don't "even have driver's licenses", I'm going to lose it. Why doesn't she do a story on the geopolitical impact of our energy situation? Or a segment on the governmental chain of command (local, state, federal...). Or interview other architects of sub-zero elevation cities. Or expose the blantant racism coming from some (ahem...) of our leaders - "us/them. we/they..."
She's still in her Aruba mode.
A media whore is forever a media whore.:-)
It's Disaster Porn.
I think that we haven't half of a clue what these "on scene" reporters have experienced. To be a witness to the devastation, both personal and otherwise, has to have been heart wrenching. Regardless of the ignorance and stupidity of the "victims" it can't be easy to see thousands upon thousands of people beg for food and water..to see the elderly walk through chest deep water to an overpass where there still was no help, to see children sleeping on floors, and babies with little food or diapers.
Regardless the cause...these reporters have done an exemplary job IMHO...
Gotta be hard on the psyche standing there watching an American city shrivel and die.
