Anyone who spends a few months lurking around FR will quickly recognize the diversity of talents and personality types that make up this group we call freepers. Since song threads tend to be so popular, I thought it only appropriate that we have a Freeper Karaoke Night to showcase those personalities.
Below are the Songs I think are most appropriate for our beloved fellow freepers to warble!
Top 10 Songs that Freepers Should Sing
10. Hell in a Bucket - Grateful Dead sung by Willie Green
9. I Love it When You Call Me Names - Joan Armatrading sung by Jersey Republican Biker Chick
8. Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top as sung by Mr. Jeeves
7. I Honestly Love You - Olivia Newton John as sung by Dashing Dasher to Pissant

Or Hi Heels singing "Hot Legs" ;o)
Find some motivating theme.. don't shy away from outright bribery.
More like Habibi el Nour en Einie ;(
Check your sheets! ;o)
The following sung by one of the lady mods, but it'd be best with a complete music video.
Within Temptation - A Dangerous Mind
I'm searching for answers
Cause something's not right
I follow the signs
I'm close to the fire
I fear that soon you'll reveal
Your dangerous mind
It's in your eyes, what's on your mind
I fear your smile and the promise inside
It's in your eyes, what's on your mind
I fear your presence, I'm frozen inside
I'm searching for answers
Not questioned before
The curse of awareness
There's no peace of mind
As your true colors show
A dangerous sign
It's in your eyes, what's on your mind
I see the truth that you've buried inside
It's in your eyes, what's on your mind
There's no mercy, just anger I find
I just have to know, while I still have time
Do I have to run, or hide away from you?
It's in your eyes, what's on your mind
I see the truth that you've buried inside
It's in your eyes, what's on your mind
There's no mercy, just anger I find
I guess the best answer would be MORE BEER!!!!!!
I'd have to move to San Fran, apparently!
Check yours.
I love that picture.
It was all that I could do to keep from cryin'
Sometimes it seems so useless to remain
You don't have to call me darlin', darlin'
You never even call me by my name.
You don't have to call me Waylon Jennings
And you don't have to call me Charlie Pride.
You don't have to call me Merle Haggard, anymore.
Even though your on my fightin' side.
CHORUS
And I'll hang around as long as you will let me
And I never minded standin' in the rain.
You don't have to call me darlin', darlin'
You never even call me by my name.
I've heard my name a few times in your phone book
I've seen it on signs where I've laid
But the only time I know, I'll hear David Allan Coe
Is when Jesus has his final judgement day.
CHORUS...
Well, a friend of mine named Steve Goodman wrote that song
and he told me it was the perfect country and western song
I wrote him back a letter and told him it was NOT the perfect
country and western song because he hadn't said anything about
Momma, or trains, or trucks, or prison, or gettin' drunk.
Well, he sat down and wrote another verse to the song and he sent
it to me and after reading it, I realized that my friend had written
the perfect country and western song. And I felt obliged to include it
on this album. The last verse goes like this here:
Well, I was drunk the day my Mom got outta prison.
And I went to pick her up in the rain.
But, before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got runned over by a damned old train.
CHORUS:
So I'll hang around as long as you will let me
And I never minded standin' in the rain. No,
You don't have to call me darlin', darlin'
You never even call me, I wonder why you don't call me
Why don't you ever call me by my name.
Yes, this is true.
Would have to do that skit as it is integral.
HOW did we forget David Allen Coe!
I LOVE THAT SONG!!!
Darlin'!
Yeah!
Actually, I just won first prize last weekend in a talent show when I wowed the crowd with a stunning rendition of "Made in The Shade" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Ahh...the stage was on fire that night.
I sang that at a small bar with a bunch of drunken bikers during bike week!!!
Totally as a not having to do with anything asside...
I've been eating fresh pineapple all day and about 20 minutes ago,
my mouth and face started to look like raw hamburger.
Bummer.
Guess I have an allergy.
Alice Cooper - Feed my Frankenstein
:(
Sorry about that!
Oh my, I hope you are OK!
