Since the liberals are out there carping on Bush's handling of Hurricane Katrina's devastation, I was wondering how a President Kerry would have handled things. Would he donate the use of his 10-speed for relief efforts? Would First Lady Ta-Ray-Zuh whip up a batch of gin-soaked raisins to hand out to weary New Orleans residents?
How would he handle the gasoline price escalation? We had all wondered how a President Gore would have handled 9/11; now it's time to ponder this disaster. Any ideas?

Kerry would have gone windsurfing to get a feel for the water splashing on the faces of the poor people at the Superdome and in the streets, then he would have claimed to have a plan which the MSM would praise and wish him well.

He would have sent Max Cleland down to take charge of things. Then maybe had Sandy Berger stuff some debris in his pants and take it out. And had Chris Lehane make sure the MSM blamed it all on George Bush.
THE KERRY RELIEF PROGRAM
1. Standard liberal playbook solution to everything--raise taxes.
2. Blame the Bush administration.
3. Propose legislation to outlaw hurricanes.
4. Make looting in emergencies an entitlement.
5. Blame the Bush administration again.
6. Propose an initiative to institute a "yellow ribbon" hurricane awareness program.
7. Visit N.O. Stage a accident where he receives a superficial wound and has to be evacuated.
He would return to France all territories bought in the Louisiana Purchase.
It would then be their problem.
Ta-Ray-Zuh would show up in NO drunk and in a foul mood, start to curse out the media, and get pulled back into Air Force one by her handlers. The MSM would deep-six the footage, but it would mysteriously appear on a FreeRepublic thread and be carried thereafter on Rush, Hannity, and Drudge.
