Right on!

I saw a guy being stopped from stealing a big screen T.V. out of a store window. Doubt he was planning on eating that!

In these situations the best in people comes out, but also the scum of the earth come out in full force as well.

I have no sympathy for looters of TV, jewelry etc. But I have a lot of sympathy for the poor and those whose poverty left them stuck in what is now a hell hole.

If you can't pity them then you are pitiful.

His name is Viktor Belenko. I think that is the correct spelling? When Viktor flew that MiG-25 out of Russia, the US made a point of getting in front of as many America pilots as they could. He is a wonderful, courageous man.

Never saw that movie.

Pity and sympathy are two different things. A very important distinction.

I agree with you but I doubt any of the merchandise that was looted would have been recoverable two months from now anyway.I am not justifying what is going on, just saying it will all be trash anyway in a matter of days.

PD, I must take issue with the hiring of illegal workers. Exporting Conservative, Compassionate Capitalism would solve their problem and the squalor of those being sent money AND greatly reduce our border problem.

There are Boy Scouts (also 4H and FFA) that would be thrilled to do your work as a Troop Project--then you have a tax-deductible contribution. Or ask your local GOP office for former (as in PROVEN) volunteers who might want to do so 1099 Contractor work and bid for the work.

As regards the looting vermin and the BLESSING .... MEGADITTOS

DD-thanks for the ping

Well, don't tell anyone, cause I need the dummy's benefit of the doubt often.

"That’s right, YOUR EXPENSE. It will be you and I who ends up paying for what others have stolen. Wal-Mart will pay higher insurance premiums, and they will pass it along to YOU in the form of higher prices. So you see, when people steal from Wal-Mart, they are stealing from YOU."

I mentioned this earlier in another thread. Good point, Sir.

I am also appalled by the looting. Wrong is wrong.

And on the true sabbath no less. Hypocrisy is, unfortunately, not included anywhere in the Ten Commandments. Perhaps it should have been.

For such a "worthless post", you appear to have much to say on it, don't you? Preach on, brother!

Most illegal aliens who come to America via the southern border are looking for work, hoping to send money back to family in Mexico. I get the general sense that these are people who love their families, and are willing to do whatever they can to support them. I have no doubt that were I born in Mexico, that I would be an illegal alien TODAY, were it the only option that would allow me to feed my family. Do I hire Day Laborers? Your damn right I do.

You really shouldn't admit to your own indifference to criminal activity while blasting the criminal activity of others.

You have to WORK at it to be poor in this country, and yet there are those who still feel as though they are entitled to the benefits of the American dream, without the responsibility as citizens to obey our laws.

Yet some feel that because their gold chain is last year’s model and ‘played out’ that they have a perfect right to smash jewelry counter and update themselves at your expense.

Nice.
