I know the Navy is bring ships, that oil reserves have been tapped but why hasn't our President appeared on TV and addressed this catastrophe? In a time of crises, the leaders should be very visible. As of now, Bush hasn't been seen. Please let me know if I've missed something.
Bush is already assessing the situation - man you people whatever Bush does isn't good enough for you, isn't it?
Yes, you've missed something.
Uh, yeah he has been seen. Monday and Tuesday he has made comments about the hurricane. Try and keep up.
Oh Please .. where have you been ... he has been on TV and has addressed this by sending in all kinds of relief aid
IBTZ?
Maybe you and Cindy ought to set up a tent somewhere.
Was that the fastest Zot ever?
Wow. Behold the power!
I tried to, but I found you sleeping with her, so....
ROFLMAO
He doesn't want to step on Governor' & Mayor's toes so he is giving them a chance to step up & lead. My prediction is that if "they" don't start speaking out today regarding the looting; the Navy coming in with supplies; the natl. guard's from other states on site and more coming....he will step up with the FEMA & Homeland Sec. guys and they will take over the lead.
1. One thing I like about the Pres is he tries to get all his facts about a situation before making comments
2. I rather him be silent and get help (military) down there
3. I am sure he will make more comments in the days to come
agree with you 100%!
I agree....
