TOM CRUISE reckons he has lived before and was even more talented and successful in his previous lives.

The eccentric War Of The Worlds star told a press conference that he is "old beyond reckoning".

And despite all his wealth and fame, he believes his current life is "probably one of the least satisfying" he has led.

He said: "I could tell you stories about Brooke.

"She was the mistress of Sigmund Freud, you know. Is it any wonder she promotes his discredited theories? She's so confused

Either his publicist has totally lost control of him or the press is out to destroy him. Either way he's totally decended into tabloid ragland and professionally, he's finished.

LOL, first he'd need acting lessons. You guessed it, he's never been one of my favs. I think he 'acts' the same in all his roles, like Tom pretending to be other people.

Cruise, a devoted follower of the bizarre Church of Scientology, said: "I was much happier in previous existences when I wrote plays, composed music, conquered nations, discovered continents and developed cures for diseases"I only took my present form because Bingodulla, whom all Scientologists worship as the Supreme Thetan, selected me to spread the gospel of Scientology to the glib, uninformed masses.

As truly nutty as Cruise is, I’m fairly confident that this newspaper made up every quote in this article.

correction... he just need to shut up... his acting sucks anyway... he is an over actor and has no talent... Top Gun should have been plenty of evidence to prove that.

Old beyond reckoning? Is that a sensitive way of saying "has been"?

Oh well, after the scientologist scam is done with tommy, after tommy has given his all (meaning millions of dollars to this scam hubbard devised on a bet that he could create a religion based on his hatred of psychologists and psychiatrists) to the scientologists, maybe then, after his mentors in that cult TELL HIM he is most worthy, has attained the highest status possible, is supreme in his powers, etc., THEN he will be able to feel his has a satisfactory life....some folks just need to be told, er, I mean, PAY SOMEONE or THING, in order to feel complete.

How come they were never grave diggers, rag-pickers or pick-pockets?

All those folks achieved nirvana and headed out. It's the world conquerors that keep circling around.

The concept of Reincarnation is hardly new, nor cause for deciding someone needs to be in a strait-jacket. Let him bray...

Next thing he'll be spiking his hair with rice water so it reaches the heavens, a symbol of the divine. (think Don King)

Your post about past lives is right on. As a Christian I don't subscribe to reincarnation but if one did, the logic you state is so obvious.... there are billions more people now so how could everyone be a ruler, conqueror, famous inventor? Like you said, what about Bob the Ugandan fisherman or Ug the the caveman who didn't discover fire.

It's about time to pass on to the next one. Maybe it will be better. Bye Bye Cruise.

I think this is what happens when you live most of your life in a place where everyone kisses your ass. How can one keep a sense of reality when you are told what you want to hear ALL THE TIME, when you are given what you want ALL THE TIME, when you get EVERY WOMAN YOU WANT...it's not the human experience. And we're seeing what happens to mortal men when they believe they are immortal. It's sad. I feel very sad for Tom Cruise. I do.
