CRUISE: I HAVE LIVED BEFORE

TOM CRUISE reckons he has lived before and was even more talented and successful in his previous lives.

The eccentric War Of The Worlds star told a press conference that he is "old beyond reckoning".

And despite all his wealth and fame, he believes his current life is "probably one of the least satisfying" he has led.

His mother should have kept a helmet on him while he was on the playground as a child.

If he said it why deny it? It's not like there's been some overwhelming public response to this and he hasn't already said some ridiculous things that he fully owns up to and is willing to repeat to whoever will listen.

He has finally lept over the edge. I'm looking for the link about how he almost left a few years ago, around the time he divorced Nicole. He was freaked out by the higher level beliefs of the cult, they lured him back in, massaged his ego, and gave him special treatment. Now he's out with a vengeance, an almost maniacal look in his eyes. That extra enthusiasm is supposed to 'chase away' the bad thetans. *eyeroll* He does seem to be textbook delusional.

Notice also you don't hear about Kate Holmes anymore or her "sudden" conversion? !

Let's hope it's because she has changed her mind or been whisked away by folks rescuing her from the cult. And not because she's getting more intense 'help' and brainwashing from the scientologists. Remember how she disappeared in the spring and when she returned a few weeks later, she was madly in love with Tom and converting and shadowed by a scientology handler? Creepy.

I only took my present form because Bingodulla, whom all Scientologists worship as the Supreme Thetan, selected me to spread the gospel of Scientology to the glib, uninformed masses

I may be uninformed, but I'm certainly not glib.

I am not into trying to make logical sense of what he does and doesn't say.

IMDB's intrest is portraying him as a "sane" actor that does not make these wacky comments... my thought is that it is his agent that had IMDB release this. (his agent still has to try to get him work. As for the spouting of amazingly odd rhetoric, for the past 6 months this is only psychobabble that has come out of his mouth. It has been all about scientology and all its tenants and beliefs. So I can certianly belive it.

How come these bozos were always explorers, ancient warriors and conqueors? How come they were never grave diggers, rag-pickers or pick-pockets?

Good point. We were assuming why was he not a farmer or worker or such. Who's to say he wasn't Jack the Ripper or Vlad the Impaler or lesser known thugs like grave robbers? Delusions of grandeur.

I am proud to say that I have shunned every single movie he has ever made (except for "Rain Man" which my husband made me sit through). I find Tom Cruise to be an overrated, one-dimensional actor who bores me, quite frankly...

yeah I have read some on the scientology. In fact a couple of years ago there was a large lawsuit to get some expose` that someone did on their beliefs removed from the net. What I have read on the Scientologist is scary.

I do hope that you are correct about Kate Holmes...I hope she ran far away.

I'm not a huge fan of Ms. Shields, well not a fan at all but she needs to sue his smarmy little butt off.

Scientology is illegal in France, on the basis that it is a fraudulent criminal enterprise whose purpose is to bilk the vulnerable out of money by pressuring them to adhere to an organization that sells tests, techniques and drugs without showing any scientific evidence that any of it has any merit.

Tom Cruise is exhibit A of the fraud that is this organization.

LOL, I do, too. And why not actually do something to make his life more satisfying now, if that's what he truly believes? Maybe he can't be a doctor or lawyer or whatever, but he could study and be a physicians assistant or legal aid or volunteer his time. Because, of course, it's easier to make up some story that can't be proven (because he's nutty) instead of doing something in the present.

Maybe tom is desparately wanting to get out of the cult.

If you read accounts of others who have tried to break that chain, it becomes the stuff of a horror movie.

Perhaps he is trying to act so crazy, perhaps accidentally leaking the freaky sideshow stuff of scientology that only members (victems) are supposed to know, in order to get Scientology to demand he leave.

That saves him time and money and perhaps, prevents them from blackmailing him.
