Good morning, Kathy! Thank You for the wonderful hymn. I love it.
Yes, yes, yes!
Hi, "Ray!" I feel so warm and happy now. Thanks!
BTW, it is one dazzling morning in southern California/coastal Los Angeles! It was so bright I thought I had way overslept. Just before 7:00 a.m. I first viewed sunrise. The sun was absolutely golden on the eastern horizon and the sky a bright clear blue. I've never seen sky that blue so early in the morning.
All we've had for months are gray, gloomy mornings. Well, I'm going to skip down to the cafeteria for my pancakes. See ya!
Thank you. Blessings.
Good morning!!
Gorgeous day here!!
A slight nip in the fall air. Gotta go into the back yard and start to clear away the dead stuff from summer.
(soft chuckle)
Gracious are the blessings
you are so sweet
said with a smile ...
let us bow down awhile
before the God of glory
a new verse to begin
every thought a prayer
no matter when ...
no matter where ...
every thought a prayer
all we do on-going
is beyond our knowing
God alone may turn
everything to good ...
for those who love Him ...
Joseph knew the truth
what men meant for evil
God meant for good.
so he loved his brothers ...
and he did show it ...
An excellent image
to apprehend ...
may we pass it
... to others
with honor, respect,... homage
Hello, CL.
Wonderful poem. Thank You.
every thought a prayer
Many creatures seem to love apples...
Reminds me of a song Rosalie Sorrels sang:
If you love me,
If you love, love, love me,
Plant a rose for me
If you think you're gonna love me
For a long, long time
Plant an apple tree.
So, whether you comes
And whether you goes
I'll have an apple
And I'll have a rose
So easy to eat,
Nice to my nose
And every little bite will be
A sweet reminder of the time you loved me
And planted a rose for me ...
And a apple tree.
Utterly beautiful, bentfeather. Thank you. *sigh*
Oh, and I saw who snuck into the Lair last night ...
I mean, who snuck in this morning...
Thank You. This is a true story.
I kinda like it here also . . . ;-)
Ah yes . . . those "unwanted" pets wrap themselves around our hearts in a "heartbeat" . . . kitties do that to us . . . ;-) . . I love the poem . . .does it have a melody?

Nice ...
I think I'll get out there and see ours. G'night, Lair; g'night, FR.
What a nice surprise to see Old Sarge in the Lair . . . I can't wait for some Feather/Sarge "Dance Poems" . . . they're always so welcome . . . and they've been sorely missed!!! . . . ;-)
LOL on that graphic. Hilarious.
Me too, Hope, it's been a famine.
