It is quite the rust bucket. No wonder Jean Francois Kerry was so quick to dissociate himself from ownership of the jalopy. Plus, it's European, another black mark against it with the union thugs.

Since it's not in his name, the lucky buyer won't even get his autograph.

It's in terrible condition for a vehicle with only 49,321 miles. I live in an area that has the same kind of salt air induced rust. If a car doesn't come from the factory with rust proofing, lots of people get their cars rust proofed. It's pretty obvious Kerry didn't get this car rust proofed when it was new.

That is such a nerdy vehicle. How did I know it would be bright yellow and look like a box?

The SUV that Kerry's family owned... not his - is up for auction on eBay. Kind of a rust bucket if you ask me.

Although it's not his personal vehicle, does it still have a "to me come from me" power train?

If it does, beware for those "to me come from me" power trains have a tendency to go into reverse at ANY speed without input from the driver.

The national group "The compassionately concerned for the owners of to me come from me vehicles" (CCOTMCFMV) a group of well known Attorneys headed up by John Edwards, is looking into a class action law suit that could pave the way for the owners of "to me come from me" vehicles to reap millions in damages.

So it could be a lucrative investment if one didn't use it for transportation.
