So, should I hold off buying my Asus A8N SLI delux board and AMD 64 3500 socket 939, etc. to make my new desktop for surfing the net, trading stocks and processing words until then?

I want to run dual monitors for the stock trading. Got any video card recommendations?

Just got my new box going with a Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI and the AMD64 X2 3800+....talk about a chip running cool, unless the MB is lying to me....purrs at 30 C!

Am running with a Gigabyte GE 6200 TurboCache PCIE card.

Currently running Xandros V3 Linux.....other Linuxes such as Fedora seem to have trouble with the X2.

The Video card has a VGA adapter and a DVI Adapter.

GET The Venice chip...the 90 nm chip, runs much cooler.

Support problems with XP shouldn't be there.

Here's a review I just came across, has only one PCI-E slot , and 4 PCI slots, if that is important:

Foxconn NF4UK8AA-8EKRS system board
