My wife forwarded this to me. What do you think? Is this correct?
To: pageonetoo
I'd buy from a Saudi before I bought from Citgo.

Citgo is owned by Venezuela.

Add Mirastar to your list of no imported oil (Mirastar is in the west, and associated with WalMart).

I know. Buying Citgo is like buying directly from Hugo Chavez.

The list of no-arab oil companies stretches the imagination, doesn't it? I find it hard to believe that ANY major oil company in the states operates without at least some product from OPEC.

Instead buy a VW TDI. 48 and 52 mpg on the last two tanks of fuel, the difference due to average speed over the ~700 mile range on a tank. Yes, you're still buying Saudi oil but no more than you must.
Expedition drivers ought to have to wear a towel wrapped around their heads - or declare their car a consulate. Who was it that used to make a model 'Consul'?

It's ridiculous.
The Saudis have a BILLION Chinese and Indians who'll buy their oil.
It's called supply and demand. Of course if you attended American public schools you might not know that.

No. It is not correct.
Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.
It doesn't work that way. By the time you are sticking the nozzle into your car's tank, there is no way to know from whom the crude oil was purchased from.
