LOL!! That reminds me of one of Rush's old joke commercials about an Institute for people with Restless Leg Syndrome. The doctors had the folks riding bicycles hooked up to generators!!
It's an admin assistant job at the college. It pays well, plus it'd get me into the system - it's easier to transfer to another job within the college than it is to get hired from the outside.
Considering this is the first admin assistant job where I've made it to the interview stage, I'm not sure what to expect!
Well, best of luck with it, and stay relaxed!
Well, I'm back.
The doc put temporary collagen punctal plugs in my tear ducts to see if that will stop what little tears I have from draining out into my nose. If they work, he will put permanent ones in.

Huh... I had no idea ;~D
Best of luck with that.... hope it does the trick.
I have bone dry eyes. Not a lack of reflex (crying) tears, but a lack of lubricating tears.
They thing that the radial keratotomy that I had is the problem...apparently they are seeing a lot of it with post RK patients. They *think* that the nerve endings that communicate with the brain letting it know that the eye needs lubricating tears are cut off and the message isn't getting through.
"Wouldn't the world be a better place if insecurity and desperation made us more attractive? If ~needy~ were a turn-on?" ~Aaron Altman, Broadcast news :~D
Hope that works for you!
How big of a procedure would the permanent deal be? Would it be in and out like this was?
Well, I hope this does the trick. I know others with ~similar~ complaints, and I think it only becomes more common as people get older.
That is what I gather! This took him literally 30 seconds per eye!
I was appalled by it...just the idea. Sounded awful. But it really was completely painless.
True. And it has gotten worse and worse as I've gotten older.
42 may be the answer, but it almost means I'm old. LOL!
Speaking of 42, anyone wanna chat-view Hitchhiker's Guide tonight? Rosie and I feel a need to watch it.
Could be - if we get ours back.... ecurbh loaned it out to a co-worker.
Glad it wasn't as scary as you anticipated!
Heh...and speaking of 42, we really wanna watch that again. Haven't seen it since the theater.
I can chat, but I don't have Hitchhiker's Guide and I'm watching baseball anyway.
I could do a chat...until 9pm anyways...that's when Steve will be home.
But at least the Red Sox season is over!
:)
