Gas is down a lot, it's at 2.89 right now. Next time I decide to drive to school, shoot me, the convenience of being able to do errands on the way home is not worth the parking hassles.

What time do you get out today, do you know? 'Cause if I timed it right, maybe I could catch a ride back with you. Or did you have stuff going on this afternoon?
I think I'm about done with the cover letter draft. It's not very good, but then, I think mostly they don't look at 'em.
After my class gets out at 2. I was thinkin' of stopping at the booze store and the book store.
If you wouldn't mind a passenger...that sounds good to me!
Off to Kinkos now. Hopefully there's at least one system free.

I had a funny thing happen to me yesterday on my way to town.
I pull out of the driveway and start out down the road and went to light a smoke.
No lighter. I forgot it at home. Dang.
The cigarette lighter in the truck is missing, the cell phone charger is plugged into it... I dig around in the center console dealy, but can't find it. Dang.
I flip the the glove box open and flip through it as well as I can, while still driving. Nothing. Dang.
OK - so I pull into the truck stop that is by the freeway onramp not too far from the house.
I walk inside, and I look by the counter for their cheapo .99 cent lighters. All I see are fancy ones... refillables and fancy lighters that all cost more than .99 cents. Dang.
So I ask the guy, "Do you have any cheapo .99 lighters?" I am thinking that I should buy a few of them. I'd spent a lot of time looking for a dang lighter in the last few days, and a wanted to buy a few to have on hand.
He looks a long time through the display I had already looked at, and finally shakes his head like "no... I don't think..." I make a frowny face.
He says - "Oh - well we do have ~these....~ and points to a display behind the counter of cheapo .99 cent lighters... there are three left in the display. But he points to them like they are a foul smelling pile he doesn't want to touch, and looks at me kind of nervously.
I disregard the suggestion of his body language because I don't understand it, and say "YES! That's exactly what I want! I'll take all three of them!"
He gives me a strange look like I had just said matter-of-factly "My hovercraft is full of eels". But he puts the lighters on the counter.
I smile, pay for them, pick them up, and go out.
When I get in the truck, I light a smoke and look at the lighters. They all have naked women posing very immodestly on them.
ROTFL!
Now that is funny!
He probably thinks your Lebanese...

Yep. I'll prolly take the twelve-forty something bus, which should give me time to drop that off and be back by two, but if I'm a tiny bit late, I'm on my way.
Back from Kinkos. It was really quiet there. Odd. I still hate their computers, though, and still think they charge too much. Granted, the state form is long...but over seven bucks for three documents and about three minutes of computer time? Eeek.
Maybe they're triplets.
That reminds me, I think I'm gonna take up smoking. ;~D
I'll bet you want to start burning the trash more often too....

You know, next time you should see what the library's printing policies are.
I could also go to the workforce center downtown. Have to share computer space with questionables, but...
But year, surely the libary has something more reasonable.
Have I mentioned recently that I'm really sick of filling out forms?
*sigh* But that's done. Finally. Now I can relax for a few.
