Yes. Braunswager is aka Liverwurst. I used to eat it on white bread with ketchup, but it's been a long, long time.

I did buy a can of Spam the other day and use it to threaten the wife with. One of these days I'll slice it up and fry it. Haven't had it in a decade or more.

Yes, it is pork liver and pork fat. It is sort of mushy and grayish. I get the Kahn's brand in the bright yellow tubing located in the lunch meat section. It is wonderful. It had to look up the right spelling and it is braunschweiger. When I was little we called it cat food because it did look like canned cat food. I think it is very German. But probably not a big hit with the Islams.
