I'll keep my Windows machines, but at the same time, I am glad there is an alternative as well.

If you really want to have fun and you have some stand alone windows boxes set up Samba to be an NT domain controller..

I have a wireless network. I have an XP based desktop and an XP based laptop - I'll be adding my Mandriva box to that wireless network (finding a wireless card that is certified by Mandriva has proven a pain).

I would like to use my Mandriva box as a workstation, test server, and file server, as my two XP boxes aren't on speaking terms.

I'm also putting an Nvidia 6600 GT based graphics card so I can play games on the Mandriva station as well.
