We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
A scientist that was on a Presidential panel looking into global warming quit because he said too many of the members preparing the report were wedded to the notion of human-induced climate change without looking into the science of the matter.
The "You Don't Speak for Me Cindy" caravan continues through California. Ultimately, it will head to Crawford, TX.
Though the Pentagon says there is no evidence Atta was named as the 9/11 attack leader before the attack, a second officer has come forward to challenge that assertion.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Proof reading would be my friend if I'd just allow it.
I can't imagine! Mine is set at 72. I could have lived today without it, but it's so dry and dusty and there's a gravel road to the West of the house. I didn't want the dust in my house, so I kept the A/C on.
Good evening IG and all. We are moved out of the house except for just a handful of last minute stuff to throw in. I've worked for 2 days cleaning it, and we called a junk-man to haul off the last of what didn't go at the sale.
Signed papers at the attorney's yesterday. Realtor comes by in the morning ahead of the final walk through, which we won't be here for.
Tomorrow we will head out after 19 years. We're ready.
Oh, prairie. What a momentus occasion. You must be beat sweetie. Take a good hot bath and think of the aventures ahead of you!!
Oh my Goodness.
Are you staying in a motel, or do you still have the bed left in the house?
I suppose you've donated the contents of your liquor cabinent to charity, but I'd think something to take the edge off and put you to sleep quickly would be welcome.
Keep us posted. Are you driving thru Iowa on your trip to TX? If so, give me some notice, and I'll buy the rubarb pie at the Amana exit on I-80.
Can't take a bath, only have a shower and I don't want to have to clean the tub again, LOL!
Adventures...yes, I'm sure we'll have them. I'm just looking forward to not being too tired to notice them.
:^P
Neither. Staying in the mobile office. :^)
We are heading SW at this point, won't be through IA this trip. But I'm sure we will again at some point and will keep that offer for rhubarb pie on raincheck.
Shucks! Well, the offer is always open. Just let me know.
Get a good night's sleep, prairie. You've been working as hard as can be and need a good rest.
Ah yes, the dust. Now if we had dust, I'd have mine running 24/7. I'm afraid to turn mine lower because of the expense.
I've been waiting around, hoping I would 'see' you here tonite. My eyes are drooping and I'm going to check out.
Wondering how close you are to being finished with the Christmas ornaments?
I'm here. I went grocery shopping after my class this evening. There must have been a leather and safety pins convention in town, there were 4 packs of teenagers hanging out around the grocery store. All dressed in these black leather pants held together by safety pins, and decorated with skulls & bones. Yikes. It certainly didn't make me feel very safe.
We have about 30 ornaments to go. We need to have them finished by Nov 1. We're having a final kickoff party next week, with door prizes even.
I hope things are going well with you.
The 9/11 documentary was excellent. Frightening in how much we knew during x42's reign of terror.
I just finished reading your comments on the other thread about the 9/11 documentary. I just ordered it, I agree with you, the documentary should be required viewing by all Americans periodically. Every time I see the planes fly into the buildings those emotions rush back.
I am quite worried about President Bush and his ratings. I know he is doing the right thing, and talking around the country, but the d*mn media won't give him an inch. It's just frustrating to feel like we're losing the war of wills to those dirty throw-back hippies from the Sixties. I also thought the last words from last night were breathtaking. The program ends with a chilling quote from OBL: "We love death, the U.S. loves life, that is the big difference between us." And the hippy dippies in SLC inflated their numbers. All last night it was that over 2000 people had protested President Bush in SLC yesterday. It was barely 1000.
Good morning.
Good morning to you.
Good morning, Roosterettes!
We are "borrowing" wifi off our neighbor (with his permission) and I lost signal last night so couldn't reply. I won't be forgetting about rhubarb pie IG, that's for sure, :^)
Slept well last night, Peach. Must've been your good wishes, thanks! My muslces have been sore at night...who needs a health club?
Good morning dawn patrol.
Mornin'!
