Of course! How could I forget! You remind me with your reference of that the mini series BAND OF BROTHERS. It was one of the greatest. I focused on Saving Private Ryan and only your reference sparked it. Way to go. BTW I never saw the Branagh version, only a stage play once. It sent shivers through me and they were not very good actors. What power words have.

"Henry V" is now out on DVD. I highly recommend it.
And while I agree that "Band of Brothers" is great, I don't see a lot of flag-waving patriotism in it. True, the men of Company E, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment were all patriots who put their lives on the line for their country, but they were also a cohesive military unit whose members looked out for each other, a true "band of brothers." I once had the privilege of serving in a unit like that. They were more than fellow soldiers, they were family.
