Hi, I'm new to Free Republic and my Son, LeapFrog, was teasing me about my hobbies, which are scrapbooking and quilting. I told him I'd get on Free Republic and find some like minded friends, and he laughed.
What he didn't know is that my other hobby is match making. My Son is 36 years old, single and very good looking! Anybody interested?

Speaking of quilts....there's an organization out there somewhere...the ladies are making quilts and donating them to our troops who have been injured.

I make lap quilts or afgans for the spinal cord unit of the VA hospital in Memphis. So don't forget these ill Vets when we do our hobbies...magizines books, crossword puzzles, etc are most welcome there too. I love those pillow form prints of the military emblems to use in my quilts or things like golfing, ball sports, or fishing/hunting.
