A La Crosse, Wis. man who crushed a kitten gets six months in prison.

The sentence in La Crosse County also reflects Randy Whitney's violations for bail jumping, theft and failing to register as a sex offender.

During sentencing Tuesday, Judge John Perlich cited Whitney's "absolute lack of remorse" and said he's a person who has "no ability to make moral judgments or comply with reasoned thinking."

The kitten's death happened at an apartment in June, when Whitney stomped on its head.

The 22-year-old man has prior convictions for sexually abusing a young boy and for numerous burglaries.

Sounds like a pretty good sentence to me. I can't understand how someone could crush a little kitty cat. I wanted to crush my brothers kitty when it peed on my head many years ago, but I resisted...

In approximate reverse chronological order: 1 for kitten stomping.

1 for bail jumping.

1 for failure to register.

1 for theft.

1 for sex abuse of young boy.

1 for the 'numerous' burglaries.

1 for the burglary that came between burglary # 2 & the aforesaid 'numerous' burglaies.

Had the first bullet been applied to a three time loser, he would not be a 4th, 5th, 6th, & more times loser.

The judge is right, "no ability to make moral judgments or comply with reasoned thinking." ... and a MAJOR failure to learn from past "mistakes", as defense lawyers & professional bleeding hearts social workers like to call criminality.
