WHAT IS THE WORST CAR?TRUCK?BIKE YOU HAVE EVER OWNED?
NOW | ME

Ok just for fun what is the absolutley worst POS you ever had to lower the property values of you house just by parking in front of it. For me it was my first truck, a 1974 toyota hilux truck. It leaked a quart of oil a week and had a average of $100 in repair cost a month until I sold it. It was blue, rust, primer, and bondo in color. Its nick names were Hirashima's revenge, and the toyota valdez.

Three days after I sold it to some poor unsuspecting fellow it caught fire and burne the the ground.

One of the best features of the yugo was that it had a heatd rear window. That kept you hands warm as you pushed it.

1990 something Chevy Cavalier.

The bottom near the gas pedal had some water leak problem and i would get a ice rink driving to school in the winter months.

It was a rust bucket pos and I loathed it.

My worst car was a '73 Toyota Corolla.

I had an old Toyota Corolla right out of high school (I had it before I had my POS Escort). I drove that thing into the ground. It literally rusted out. But it was brown so the rust blended right in. I had very few problems with it though.

It was a 5-speed too, which was fun to drive.

1979 Ford Mustang. It died in more intersections than there were deaths in a classic American Western.

1976 Ford Fairmont. 4 doors, 4 cylinders, 4 MPH downhill. Turn on the A/C (yes - it had A/C!) and the POS couldn't fall out of a tree without a push.

1996 Suzuki Bandit 600

Due to Kali emission regs, I couldn't get it to run right at my altitude no matter what I did.

1980 Aries "K" Station Wagon.

It was a great car that got 38 miles per gallon....until a simple "sending unit" that cost $5.00 went out.

Without the sending unit, the engine fan didn't turn on and the aluminum block engine turned into a melted hunk of junk with only 54,000 miles.

That stupid car (at 17% interest) was the first and worst investment I ever made!

The Yugo. Most known for being blown off of the Mackinac Bridge. Literally.

The Daewoo Nubira wagon. Thank goodness we got rid of it before the company tanked.

You brought back unpleasant memories with your post about the Excel. What a piece of junk! I understand Hyundais have gotten a lot better, but I doubt I could bring myself to buy one.

Subaru station wagon '87. Overheated despite money being lavished at every service station around. In TX that was a problem. The only solution was to TURN THE HEAT ON! It got well over 125 degrees in the car going home from work. One day, the polish melted off my shoes. I hated that car.

63 Renault. My dad used it up, then gave it to me in 72 when I was old enough to drive. No brakes to speak of, had to have a passenger (to push it at the stop lights to get the clutch in play), no passenger seat (used an apple crate), and only two cylinders had enough compression to fire the spark plug.
