The Best Looking Women in TV Show History (vanity)
PA Times | 2005 | Dr. Pissant

Posted on 08/15/2005 9:05:44 AM PDT by pissant

Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.

On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.

So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!

The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion

7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!

6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!

5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!

4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!

3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!

2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!

1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!

Thanks you!!!

For recent shows, Buffy, Willow and Faith have to be near the top of the list for best overall assembly of talent. All time, I think pissant hit it with the first post. Emma Peal passed the ultimate test for Best Looking Woman in a TV show, she was so attractive you will watch the show just because of her.

I'll only agree with the top 2 and the Jag chick. Not bad at all though!

It is amazing that Avengers was on TV what, 30 years ago, and yet every TV show featuring a kick butt female character still at some point features her in the same black leather jumpsuit and boots Emma was wearing back then.

Frankly, I do not have a problem with that.

And add Cordelia, Anya, Glory, Ms. Calendar and Vampire Willow (she has to count as her own character). Quite a lineup.
