Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.
On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.
So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!
The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion
7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!
6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!
5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!
4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!
3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!
2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!
1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!
Anyone mention Angie Harmon (Seahorn) yet?
Thanks for the photo, even if Shatner and what's-his-name are in it.
Gosh, I didn't know that the series went back that far. They're all carrying revolvers, and most cops haven't carried wheelguns in a while.
Now I have to delete the photo before my wife sees it.
Now you're talking.
Gangly Suzanne Somers?
Of the many adjectives that spring to mind when contemplating Ms. Somers, gangly doesn't make the top thousand. I hope you are being tongue-in-cheek, sir.
Now, Joyce DeWitt might have been a worthy comedienne, and a steady, professional actress to boot, but as far as sheer fetchingness is concerned, she runs a distant last behind all of Jack's room-mates, from Suzanne to Jennilee Harrison to Priscilla Barnes. In fact, the only regular less physically attractive than Joyce was the ball-shriveling hag who played Mrs. Roper.
Jennifer Jones never struck me, either, after all, everyone has different tastes. Obviously, not too many women strike me at all, but Sophia Loren is legendary.
Maren Jensen , Lt. Athena from the original Battlestar Galactica
I just was surprised after hearing so much about Gina Loolibrigida, especially the Lucy episode. As far as Jennifer Jones- I always felt sorry for Robert Walker- what a bum deal. Of course, his son was a clone of him. I wonder if that made Selznick and Jennifer feel guilty all the time.
Stefanie Powers ("The Girl from U.N.C.L.E." )
