Freeping Gamers! (Week 9)

If you are a Freeper, and also like online gaming, post here to find fellow gamers, share screen shots, reviews, helps, and tips. Gamer tables are updated and published weekly. We currently have 50 gamers playing over 50 different games. Top Games: Battlefield/Battlefield 2 (10 gamers) World Of Warcraft (9 gamers) Unreal Tournament (8 gamers)

Yeah that is why they are begging. Figured we could use it as a "lounge" to all hook up. We have not eaten yet and on the east coast as well so tonight may not happen. School just started. That is why I would suggest we set a night good for all as practice and fight. See ya.

Yeah... I see your point now. Never anybody there.
For now, I suggest an official meeting time at that server on any given night of the week of 7:00 PM Central time. Lets all try to meet there each night this week and maybe part of next to determine which night is best for the most of us.
I'll start connecting there every night this week and next that I can. If a later time is preferrable, then please speak up.

Those of us on the west coast may need until 5:30pm (7:30pm central) to get online.

That sounds good. I would say anytime between 7-9PM CDT would be great. That way those on the west coast can connect and its still not too late for east coast people. Hope to see you all this evening!

This is going to sound stupid, but I have the PS2 and do not play online. With my addictive personality, I figured that if I went online I would be playing for 12 hours straight and skipping work for games like "Evercrack". So I never inquired onto online gaming.

But now I want to do it. What kind of hardware or software do I need?

Most new ps2s these days now come with the needed network card installed. It fits into the back of the console, and has the familiar ethernet port ready for connection to a dsl or cable modem. If your's doesn't have one, you'll need to find a place that sells them separately. (Wal Mart?)

Don't bother with dial up... it's not worth it. It's either high speed heaven or lag line hell.

hehe... the majority of traffic on this 9 week thread is BF2 related. Of course this is intended to be a multi group thread, and ping lists are embedded in the game listing table, so anyone should feel free to use this thread for other listed games. Your info will show up this saturday in the week 10 tables.

Whew that was fun! Man I stink, more Thurs night practice needed. That thing was hoppin for awhile. Maybe we could ask to force a map change from the admins when it is empty?

oh and I don't know if you heard me last night. Creathir got you at the turret ring almost point blank. That is why the one shot kill. Man, I was trying to get you on that Chinese map. Could not get close enough even swimming across.

I joined the forums and threw a post over at bf2info to see what they thought about us getting in regularly as a clan with "privileges." Let you know what they say. We may want to go elsewhere if we are playin tonight as it is all Strike at Kirkland today. Sigh.

I hate that map... I'll be there at our meeting time though. I may go to Justice league later(70.86.75.20). It stays fairly empty too. No voice there, but i've been thinking about getting teamspeak.

Some of those special things you can get for donating to the server are as follows:

*1. Kick people for you (person who donates) when the server is full.
*2. Add your clan/squad tag to the "Do not switch me!" for the auto-team balance.
3. You won't be kicked to make room, ever.
4. You will have the Messenger of the server Admin so you can request things/suggest directly to an administrator.
5. We become great buds!

*$7 a person per month

We're also getting Battle Recorder on the server soon once we address some other tweaks we need to do on the server. We're not sure if we're going to keep it central, or move it east/west to a more powerful rig. Most likely it will be moved and had Battle Recorder setup on it.

Let me know if you've got any other questions.. or if I said something that's confused you... because I seem to do that to people a lot, lol. Great to see you on the boards and I hope you bring all your buds here and make this community a fine one with you added personalities.
