Thanks again Asphalt for this topic.
I just did a count out of pure curiousity, and found that between the two GGG lists (the individual ping list, and the much smaller weekly digest ping list), and including all four managers, GGG has a total of 497 members. I'm not sure where we stand, but I'm guessing we're pretty far up there.
This is just a request for comments, not a ping per se. Thanks.
The Illegal Immigration Ping List is maintained by Hijinx and Gubamyster. I helped out while I was shelved by paralysis last year but my recovery dictates work over what I'd like to do.
This list was over 600 at last count and is looked at by double that on a regular basis. We know that many professional political writers scan our posts for source material and background on this issue. We also take the most unfair abuse and accusations of racism, bigotry and close-mindedness when most of us are actually trying to get our fellow citizens to shirk off the bindings of "political correctness" and see to preserving the country their forbears left them.
We don't tolerate racism nor mindless jingoism. The overall wish of our listees is for our representatives to represent us in a way that will preserve our country and it's way of life during this time when too many illegal aliens are moving in and arrogantly demanding we learn their language and adjust our rules to suit them. Unfortunately there's a huge contingent of citizens pushing that idea. Surely it's just a coincidence that those citizens also back the notorious enemies of democracy (ACLU, La Raza, etc.)
We see our foes working unceasingly to bring our county down, primarily through the disease of financial corruption. What they hope to achieve by killing the best system to ever grace this Earth is beyond my comprehension.
The evolution list has slightly over 320 names. It seems to grow about 10 per month, more or less, and all applicants are actually screened to check out their posting history. The lists includes many physicists, chemistry professors, mathematicians, archaeologists, geologists, astronomers (well, one of those), engineers, and of course biologists of every variety. And we've got loads of non-science types too, but they're all science-literate.
Asphalt was banned a few months back.
