We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Crude oil futures zoomed by the $65/bbl level. Gasoline in some markets is reaching near $3.00 per gallon, a level desired once upon a time by the eko-wackos.
Democrats are now accusing the White House that it is delaying the release of documents on Judge Roberts so Republicans can get time above and beyond that of dimocRATS to review matieral that might be detrimental to the Judge's confirmation to the Supreme Court.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Thanks, Peachie.
This is one of those "what's going to go wrong next??? times.:(
We just spent $2100 on a new transmission; girlchild went off her meds and is fighting withdrawal; Ev is leaving in 5 days; and now this.
One thing we found out is that Grandma did NOT quit smoking as we all thought; but is now under Doctor's orders to do so. Whether she will or not remains to be seen.

Sometimes we all step in a bucket of poo. We have a name for those times but I shan't say it here :-)
Maybe tonight is the night for a good hot bath and a good book to unwind, Mozie.

Hmmm........you know, that sounds like a plan.
Except, can I change "book to unwind" to "watch Packers pre-season football game"???;^)

FNC reporting that nearly half in US will develop mental disorder.
Maybe that's what the left is trying to do...drive us nuts.

I kept listening to see if it was the AMA or just who said it, but I never did hear. Ridiculous is right.
What's going on is that the most minute, silly problems are being considered mental health problems so that insurance companies will cover the "problems".
For instance, nicotine addiction was considered a mental illness. LOL

Mil's doctor went over my letter very carefully...digesting everything I wrote.
And then...let her have it.
He said that her family was bending over backwards to make her happy, but that she is responsible for her happiness and she better get her act together....get motivated and get rid of the pity party because she is relatively healthy and if she doesn't shape up soon she will find herself in a nursing home.
He scolded her for staying in bed until all hours in the afternoon.
He also took her off two meds. Both I questioned him about. He did put her on one newer anti depressant.
He praised me for all I do, but told her to contribute and put her clothes away, weed her garden and exercise.
Guess what I did today? She wasn't up at 9:00...Sarah and I went shopping and didn't return until an hour before her doctor's appointment. She was still in bed. I knocked on her door. She was in bed talking on the phone. I told her she better call her doctor and cancel the appointment. You should have seen her leap out of bed. Inside I laughed.
I am not going to put up with it anymore. Greg, Sarah and I are going to do things as a family without her. No more enabling.
I have told her that if she's not up....I'm outta here....And I'm not leaving a note. That is the rule...not up..not here..no note.
I really feel like a weight has been take off my shoulders. I'm not turning back on this.
Thank you for all your supory and prayers. I love you..all.

Oh, I'm so glad you've found peace and a sensible way to handle this. Not that you weren't sensible before, but it was waaay too much of a burden and you were trying too hard to do it FOR her.
I don't believe in enabling people in their bad habits and I'm pretty much a my way or the highway kind of person. LOL

I am so steamed. On Fox News they quoted Cindy Sheehan as saying her son was against the war. If so, WHY DID HE RE-ENLIST?
She is a liar and I have no sympathy for her anymore. None. She has lied about the President, lied about why we went into Iraq, and now she is lying about her son. Grrrr.
