This week we are going to Watkins Glen International Raceway in New York. Please join us for a full weekend of racing.
Watkins Glen International continues a road-racing tradition that dates back to 1948 -- when sports cars competed on the streets of the village at the southern tip of scenic Lake Seneca. The circuit, which at one time hosted the F1 United States Grand Prix, has grown to become one of the most respected facilities in the northeast.
This is an impound race, all practice is on Friday, qualifying on Saturday (unless they change their mind) FRFL picks must be made by Saturday morning 2am pacific time. I will update the practice times as we get closer to Friday as well as adding the qualifying lineup etc.
Image #2
JJ gets another lap led before heading in for 4 and gas. Jorge Goeters collects 5 bonus points for leading a lap.
Rocket the last of the leaders to not pit; barely gets across the start/finish line before Smoke to collect 5 bonus points. Lead now cycles back to Smoke.
Caution #6 - Biffle stalls. Flash trying the Barinov variant; did he hit pit road to top off before or after the caution came out?
Just like Boris Said at Sonoma, Flash did NOT beat the caution light.
These cards are marked...how can Tony win 5 out of the 7 last races???
BIFFLE has lost his tranny...caution out for the #3 driver in the standings...
Flash up to 19th...this caution will help him pull through some more traffic...ya'll remember several years ago when he was down at the back end and just picked em off one at at time to WIN??
Uh OH!! Jeff got caught coming onto pit road JUST as the yellow lights went off? He was already committed...how the heck can they penalize him for that???
&^#% Damn! Just lost Bif and 24 pits too quick. Ouch for the fantasy picks.
Well done Semi-High.
I have no idea where Bubba went. Hmmmmm.
But it'd be nice to have Flash in the chase, so they'll let it slide.
Because they know he was one of my fantasy picks!
Bad news - Flash had time to pull back on the track, and failing that, the pit-closed light is in view of the pits. He could have rolled through without pitting and he wouldn't have been penalized.
The replay showed him within feet of the line when the lights came on, how could he have pulled back out when there is a wall there? Should drove straight thru??
glock rocks is on the hot seat with 5 full-course cautions with us going back to green with 28 laps to go.
lets see a tanker of fuel is 8500 gal. @ 2.25 = 19,000.00
I could use that...
about 25k if Norm won...
Jeff is back in 37th...this is making me physically sick, the thought of him not being in the top ten at Richmond..Unnngghhh! to the infinite degree!
$2.25?? Heck, we're paying $2.70 for REG here in Chitown...

I paid 3.04 for diesel this week in the bay
Ditto on the $2.70 for regular up here on the far side of the toll booths.
That'd keep the mower running.
Sheesh... Casey missed the innerloop. Stop and go.
Back to the kennel for you Bo.
