This week we are going to Watkins Glen International Raceway in New York. Please join us for a full weekend of racing.

Watkins Glen International continues a road-racing tradition that dates back to 1948 -- when sports cars competed on the streets of the village at the southern tip of scenic Lake Seneca. The circuit, which at one time hosted the F1 United States Grand Prix, has grown to become one of the most respected facilities in the northeast.

This is an impound race, all practice is on Friday, qualifying on Saturday (unless they change their mind) FRFL picks must be made by Saturday morning 2am pacific time. I will update the practice times as we get closer to Friday as well as adding the qualifying lineup etc.

Vickers and Menard stay out as well as Goeters and a lot of others.

Green runs into Nemechek because he didn't know that Joe has engine problems.

50 car punts Green into Joe

Check that; it was the 50 coming in that pinched into Green, who ran into Nemechek. Their crew had just gotten out of the left side; that could have been REAL ugly.

Pruett nailed for too fast coming out of pit road, and no pardon (Fellows was lapped before the caution came out).

Green flag. They used a single-file restart, and the Northurn Burton charged ahead of Goeters for 3rd. Crash restarted 7th.

The way Jeff Burton's driving, you'd think he was a ringer.

Mini-Sauter stopped in the inner-loop. Caution #3, and the 40 will be pardoned.

Vickers is doingwell, I think he was shown the ropes by Said.

And Vickers' crew chief says that they can make it on a single stop. Of course, they'll have to hold off Crash (who made it up to 5th), Truex (up to 8th) and Smoke (9th).

We had a good 3-car breakaway in Vickers, Menard and Crash before caution #4.

Grissom will get the pardon, brings 40 cars back to the lead lap.

Nice save by Rocket after nailing the curb as the caution came out.

And he did pass him while we were looking at Kenny, then Rocket tried and hit the curb and saved it. Way to go!
