Why are they waiting to look at the video from the parking lot? I guess they don't have a man to spare right now....?
I'm expecting them to show up over here in Middle Tennessee at any time. It just wouldn't surprise me.

Must be trying to keep it simple. They don't want to spot

Uhmmmm....The escapee is only 5'4" 140 pounds.....not quite steve Mcqueen.
For the record, there is a heavy police presence on the East Tennessee interstates this morning.
I think that the concern right now is capturing the escapee and his wife. The video will show what the witnesses told them - but right now, we've got a woman who killed a Prison Transport Officer and her escaped convict husband on the run.
Yesterday, they said he had at least 3 attempted escapes... of course, they were also saying that the wife was wielding a shotgun until about noon yesterday and then changed it to handgun.
Either way, two officers and leg irons weren't enough yesterday. Sad....
It's his Fifth escape attempt, he has been in trouble with the law since adolenscence.
She was working as a HOME HEALTH CARE nurse in Hendersonville TN, and stole the gold van from the employee. She had spent one and possibly two nights at the Comfort Inn in Kingston before the incident.
Remember Kingston sits right on I-40 and they could have taken it and then gotten off on back roads easily before the chaos at the scene ever settled. They could be anywhere by now.
They think one of them is injured, and from the press conference I think they think it is probably her and she is injured pretty bad, although they didn't say it. One of the statements just gave me that impression.
They are still doing door-to-door searches in and around Kingston and helicopter searches of areas there.
Said they are getting about 35 call-in leads per hour.
Keep the electric chair plugged in and, warmed up for scum like this.

That is what I heard too. I think one of the perps has friends/family in Hendersonville. That is TOO close to me as I am in White House.

They said something about not wanting to look in the past but the future?...they also said that they were busy with the manhunt and didn't have the time....

they also said that she might be performing surgery on herself...if this is true then she is like the most hard-core woman i have ever heard of...

I hope she meets a bad ending after shooting a cop....I am an African American male and I know i'm supposed to have this hatred of cops but I really don't...they are here to protect us and I have no love for people who hurt them.....
Never even had to hit I-40. Straight under the overpass puts you on the backroads. The Subway shop where they swapped vehicles is a little less than half a mile away on 3rd Street - one stop light, and that one is right at the courthouse - so they never had to hit Kentucky or Race. I used to work right next door to the Subway, and their parking lot opens to Kentucky (front) and to 3rd (back). From there, they're lost in the crowd and confusion. If it's like it was the last time I was there, there's actually two stores in the building the Subway is in. The Subway is at the front of the building at Kentucky, and there was a video store (it was closed when I was there last) at the back, by where they swapped cars.
Check the trash packer trucks...
So she was living in Hendersonville? According to the Nashville news stations, two of her kids live with someone in Hendersonville. They even had a roadblock setup because someone thought they spotted the van.
But the news didn't say she was staying there. I guess confusion is still reigning.
