SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The San Francisco Giants' flagship radio station fired controversial talk-show host Larry Krueger and two station officials Tuesday night, six days after Krueger made racially tinged criticisms of the club and manager Felipe Alou.
Tony Salvadore, KNBR's vice president and general manager, announced the firings of Krueger, program manager Bob Agnew and KNBR Morning Show producer Tony Rhein in a brief statement.
Salvadore said the firings were related to "inappropriate comedy sound bytes" played Tuesday morning during a discussion of Alou's recent interview with ESPN in which he roundly criticized KNBR and Krueger, who was suspended last Friday.

I don't blame KNBR for terminating all those people; even the major talk shows on stations such as WIP in Philadelphia, WFAN in New York City and WEEI in Boston which tend to be highly critical of the local teams do not make racial slurs in such a flippant manner.
What sound bites did they use?
According to the San Franciso Chronicle, they used sound bites from South Park. If that isn't politically incorrect, I don't know what is....
I say ringers because gifted inner city athletes are much more heavily recruited than inner city Asian potential academic decatholetes.
I dunno, I heard some of it on the news, and I cringed, only funny in a Beavis and Butthead kinda way.
