PRESIDENT Bush takes it on the chin in the new Rolling Stones tune "Sweet Neo Con." In the most political song from their upcoming "A Bigger Bang" album, Mick Jagger sings: "You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite/ You call yourself a patriot. Well, I think your are full of [bleep]!" Jagger tells Newsweek he's not sweating possible repercussions. "I think [Keith Richards] is a bit worried because he lives in the U.S.," crows the English rocker. "But I don't."

Brian Jones and Mick Taylor knew how to perform. Brian died, but some of Mick's work with Dylan is great! Ron Wood didn't add anythning to the Stones IMHO.
And there last hit song was in 1981.... who cares?

Well, that's the thing. if you look at the bush-bashers, they are either hasbeens trying to salvage the rotten egg shell of a career or upstart nobodys who are trying to build a career.
Maybe they don't even believe what they say. Maybe they are just looking for the attention. Who knows? Who cares? Who's next?
I was a Rolling Stones fan thirty-five years ago. I matured. The Stones didn't.
Always thought the Beatles were better than the Stones, anyhow, I don't understand his need to lash out at Christians, totally unnecessary and very low class.
I prefer the song that goes, "I said, "No, and if you insist on carrying on, I will whip the rebellion right out of you."
The word "whip" may be pffensive to some listeners so just put the obligatory, "BLEEP" in it's place.
I liked the Rolling Gallstones for a year or two, then the Beatles, then I went fully into Surf Instrumentals and never looked back...I like instrumentals because you can't say stupid stuff if you don't say anything at all.
And in their big tour circa 1975, I went to one of their massive LA concerts. It was a big lovefest, people dancing in the aisles. This was when Jagger did the bump with Billy Price onstage. It was a great time, a super memory....
...which is now spoiled by the ratty jerk shooting off his mouth. Not another dime from me, I say!
The Stones have more or less been doing a self-parody since the mid 80's ...Yawn !

Why do our sports teams keep giving the big contracts to foreign musicians? Yes, Paul McCartney was great at the Super Bowl, but his fee was some phenomenal figure and all he did was four friggin' songs. Why can't the NFL hire American musicians?
