Let us not forget the animated Star Trek series.

Any thing from Jay Ward Studios has to be right up there. Simple animation, boffo writing!
Amen! And where's Roger Ramjet, King of the Hill, Beavis & Butthead, anything from the Van Buren studios (esp. "Sunshine Makers") and Ub Iwerks, the Fleischer Superman cartoons, etc. , etc.?

What is Jay Ward Studios?

Animaniacs was one of the most creative cartoons of all time.
What about Family Guy, Futurama, and King of the Hill

I liked Tom and Jerry better than Sylvester and Tweety :)
I liked the Wonder Twins too.

I saw that in the theatre. I was more partial to Penelope Pitstop though!

My all time favorites are the Flintstones and Scooby-Doo.
When I was in High School I found myself coming home days, making some food and sitting down to watch Inspector Gadget. I can't believe i was into that show. I havent seen it since.

The original Batman: the animated series that ran during the 90's was great. The follow was a stinker.
Though the simpsons have been around longer, they're going down hill, and have been for years. Southpark keeps getting funnier, becuase they keep gettin more subersively political (and anti-liberal)
Beavis and butthead need to be on there somewhere. It was a completely original format and style. They could put it at #7 and bump the smurfs off the list.

The problem with Popeye and Tom and Jerry is which version you want to tout. The later versions weren't that good.
To: mad puppy
Like yeah, and not the new one, the original. Add Space Ghost and any Looney Tune.
