CODE PINK plans trips to Cuba, N. Korea
CODE PINK email | 8/3/05 | CODE PINK

Posted on 08/03/2005 7:14:24 PM PDT by sdk7x7

I received the following e-mail from CODE PINK (I'm on their mailing list because I posted something on OneMillionReasons.org. They think I posted a reason we shouldn't be in Iraq, but actually I posted a msg of support for the war) ---

Dear Scott,

Now that arrogant, angry, disrespectful and undiplomatic John Bolton has become our UN Ambassador, it's a good time for us to step up and become Citizen Diplomats. CODEPINK has teamed up with the human rights group Global Exchange to plan some amazing opportunities for you to travel to countries Bush calls "evil" and we call our global neighbors --

Lebanon and Syria: Crossroads of the Middle East October 7-21st, 2005

Palestine/Israel: Is Peace Possible? October 22-Nov. 1, 2005

Venezuela: The Chavez Revolution November 19-27th, 2005

Cuba: New Years in Havana December 27-January 2 This trip will challenge the travel restrictions. Bring your entire family. It will be an amazing trip.

North Korea: Beyond the Bamboo Curtain [Also known as the DEMILITARIZED ZONE] March 2006

Libya: Rebuilding Relations April 1-15, 2006

Afghanistan: Peace Delegation May 2006 Join us for a life-transforming experience!

I don't remember the last time Bush labeled all these countries "evil." The only member of the Axis of Evil up there is North Korea, and it's not the North Korean people who are evil, it's the rogue tyrant and international outlaw Kim Jong Il. These people need to get a clue. I can't wait to see how accepting the North Koreans are to their presence!

Maybe the North Koreans will eat one or two of them.

Let them go with our blessings.

Just don't allow them to come back.

Instead of just visiting, how can we get them to stay in one of this countries? This just confirms what traitors these people are.

Ugh! Talk about provocation. NK would probably start lobbing Nukes at Seoul in retaliation for the lack of taste.

Maybe they will go there, see that these 'workers paradise' is what they so want to live in, and decides to stay there! After all, America is an 'evil facist nation' anyways! Why not live in these paradises? [/wishfulthinking]

Just thinking aloud here, for what it's worth, but the Code Pink delegation in particular to Pyongyang, North Korea scheduled for March 2006 will be an ideal opportunity for US intelligence personnel to target this project and to infiltrate/join as NOC agents, and accompany this organization, collecting valuable intel against the DPRK, methods and tactics on-site, all the while able to keep some close counter intelligency scrutiny of the Code Pink leadership. This will not go unnoticed.

Perhaps they'll be the beneficiaries of Fidel's surplus rice cookers. It's difficult for me to comprehend the level of idiocy they've attained.

Medea Benjamin et al. in burqas would be a great improvement.

I am hoping that Castro will die and his siblings won't take over, but if they do that they will repudiate Communism. We don;t want another Haiti.

I say all this because Cuba used to be the jewel of the Caribbean. I go to Mexico frequently and they advertise vacations there and it looks beautiful -- and my friends in
Mexico say that it is fabulous.

A few years of USA vacation $$ and the infrastructure will be upgraded -- capitalistic supply and demand will ensure that happens.

Hey Bill, maybe some sign ideas for the pinko's outside Walter Reid.

To all, Code Pink is protesting our wounded troops every Fiday night. They are holding up signs outside the hsopital such as "MAIMED FOR A LIE".

D.C. Freepers are the only ones keeping them at bay. Thanks gang.

I've been to the DMZ, and there is noway these nuts would even be allowed to get on the bus that takes you on the tour. The rules are VERY strict. If they tried to communicate at ALL with the North Korean guards they would be arrested on the spot. With tensions very high right now, these idiots could provoke an international incident. I had a heart attack at the DMZ on the first stop of the tour (this was on my second tour of the DMZ). I was taken to Camp Bonifas and flown from there to Seoul. Before they were allowed to fly me out, they had to get special permission from HIgh commanders plus notifiy the North Koreans of the reason.

Methinks Media Benjamin should be tried for treason. Found guilty, and sentenced to death.

Good One, zarf!

Either they get beheaded by the people they are sticking up for, or they get the red carpet treatment from those same people.

Talk about a win-win!
