CODE PINK plans trips to Cuba, N. Korea
CODE PINK email | 8/3/05 | CODE PINK

Posted on 08/03/2005 7:14:24 PM PDT by sdk7x7

I received the following e-mail from CODE PINK (I'm on their mailing list because I posted something on OneMillionReasons.org. They think I posted a reason we shouldn't be in Iraq, but actually I posted a msg of support for the war) ---

Dear Scott,

Now that arrogant, angry, disrespectful and undiplomatic John Bolton has become our UN Ambassador, it's a good time for us to step up and become Citizen Diplomats. CODEPINK has teamed up with the human rights group Global Exchange to plan some amazing opportunities for you to travel to countries Bush calls "evil" and we call our global neighbors --

Lebanon and Syria: Crossroads of the Middle East October 7-21st, 2005

Palestine/Israel: Is Peace Possible? October 22-Nov. 1, 2005

Venezuela: The Chavez Revolution November 19-27th, 2005

Cuba: New Years in Havana December 27-January 2 This trip will challenge the travel restrictions. Bring your entire family. It will be an amazing trip.

North Korea: Beyond the Bamboo Curtain [Also known as the DEMILITARIZED ZONE] March 2006

Libya: Rebuilding Relations April 1-15, 2006

Afghanistan: Peace Delegation May 2006 Join us for a life-transforming experience!

Ah, now their true colors come out, just as they always do.

Code pink isn't even pretending to be anti war anymore.

Straight up Communists

Great post.

Please let me know via ping to a post or via FReep if they say anything about DC-area activities, such as the Sept 23-26 anti-war actions.

NEVER FORGET

It was HILLARY RODHAM's Senatorial Office that provided support for the Code Pink personnel who have attemped to disrupt our War on Terror and thus our fight to protect our own Freedom in Time of War.

Nothing new here, actually, as it was the same HILLARY RODHAM who was on the side of our terrorist enemy, Communist North Vietnam Dictator HO CHI MINH, against us who were fighting for the Freedom of others during the Vietnam War.

Neither has anything changed since in HILLARY RODHAM's Anti-U.S. Agenda.

Beware of ever allowing her to exact her Anti-Freedom Lusts upon us, the still Free, as President of the United States.

This is the single most impportant Issue of our time. Just watch her convulse after the 1st terrorist Atomic attack upon an American City. An Attack that could well have been facilited by American Nuclear techology landing in our enemies' hands during her White House Administration.

As 9/11's Murdered Freeper BKO (Barbara K. Olson) would say...

"There will be Hell to Pay"..!!!

Maybe he will be nice enough to show them what a real prison looks like in Cuba.

Written especially for their leader, Medea Benjamin.

MIDI - A WHITE SPORTCOAT

A mountain goat or a Code Pink commie...this choice may fill you with dread
If at gunpoint you're forced into choosing...which one of those would you bed?

One smells awful as can be...and will lie in its own pee
And the other is kept penned...it is a 4-legged friend

A mountain goat or a Code Pink commie...the thought should make you sick

A mountain goat or a Code Pink commie...each one has gross facial hair
A terrorist would make his choice quickly...Medea he could not bear

One smells awful as can be...and will lie in its own pee
And the other is kept penned...it is a 4-legged friend

A mountain goat or a Code Pink commie...the thought should make you sick

We were there 2000 and 2001. One of the stupid rules our troops have to abide by on the bus tour is to wear their uniforms. This is so NK can take pics of them, note their rank, date and a picture. They keep a file on every officer that goes through there. I captured a picture of a NK guard taking a picture of my husband same time I was talking a picture of him! LOL I wished I knew how to post pictures here I could post some great pictures of that tour!

I was in EOD or bomb disposal and I was busy clearing the mine fields plus all the other junk that was there. Within the DMZ it was pretty much shoot on sight and there was quite a bit of fighting going on then.

Speaking of having you picture taken, they found a dud 152mm round up in Panmunjon that I was sent up to recover. They found the biggest North Korean they could come up with to stand there and take pictures of me. I picked it up on my shoulder and started walking away with it watching him out of the corner of my eye. He was jumping around snapping picture after picture. I hooked one of my feet behind my other leg and faked like I was fixing to fall and drop the artillery round. The last thing I saw of him after he dropped his camera was a cloud of dust hauling ass over this little hill. I am sure his superiors beat the crap out of him when they caught him.

ROFL, great story! The same day I had my heart attack a young MP steps out of his jeep to take a pee, steps on a landmine and blows half his foot off. We were bedside mates in ICU and I discovered I got the Blackhawk ride and he the batmobile ambulance they picked me up in. Talk about feeling bad!
