Not sure if something happened to him in practice he wound up in the 51st spot (I think). Don't quote me, I don't want to take the long time to load Nascar's page.

I only wish..........I'm still hobbling around. I go back to the orthopod in 10 days to see about getting rid of the cast.
The fambly went crabbing, and I'm sitting at home peeling tomatoes :(

Jayski has him as losing a tire and headed to a backup. He also notes that Kvapil getting a Speedway Stripe on the Kodak machine (no backup car though).
We've got field-fillers Mike Garvey with a 178.024 (7th of 7; 2nd of 2 field-fillers) and Grampa Shepherd with a 175.757 (8th of 8; 3rd of 3 field-fillers).

I only wish I had bought stock when they were public. I think Barry Diller went to HSN then I lost track of him.
They're replaying first practice now on Speed since there is no Happy Hour. The 77 brushed the wall.

Interesting side discussion in the booth. The guys that have to time in are in qualifying mode and will be impounded that way. The top 35 are not of course. So, those other teams will be praying for an early caution that isn't their own.
Seems to me this impound garbage really hurts the smaller teams. Soon Nascar will be made up of only large teams, everyone consolidated. Sort of like all the large department stores being owned by Macy's.

Let me guess; rigbt about then they shut down the track for a half-hour and combined the 2 practices.
Ken Schrader helping out the old-guy charge - 182.201 puts him 3rd of 9. Something must've happened to Bill Elliot - he has a bad-for-him run of 180.101 (7th of 9, but the fastest field-filler).

I would guess that's about the time, although they didn't say.
Kurt Busch is now engaged to be married next year.

They've finally turned on the radio part of TrackPass just as Bobby Hamilton Sr turns a 179.795 (8th of 11, 2nd of 5 field-fillers).

Impounding <expletive deleted> <expletive deleted>.
They skipped Biffle and the other Kyle to give us Hamilton Sr's lap, but Petty makes it out there to do a 180.478 (7th of 12).

Flipper says he should have expected trouble because he's driving the AAA Ford in the Allstate race.
Candyman is running with what I think he said 'no' camber to keep that right front on the ground and save the tire. The last 4 races they have finished 16th or worse, went from 3rd to 9th in the points.

Flipper says he should have expected trouble because he's driving the AAA Ford in the Allstate race. Yep; they take about 3 hours to show up :-)
Third driver skipped becomes Sterling Marlin; Travis Kvapil glad he's in the top 35 as he puts down a 177.897 (13th of 14). SlowCasey on the track.

SlowCasey smacks the wall in the short-chute between 3 and 4 several times; takes it to the garage before recording a time. Will start in the back.
