He may have a concussion then. I hope he's ok.
I'm waiting for Victory Lane on Speed. They should have some news.

Thanks, but Jayski is simply too good at the real stuff, and Mike Mackler over at The Outside Groove does a great job of blogging the funny side of NASCAR.
Maybe if I had a 6-pack instead of half of one (I don't feel like being a Swimmer, though, or even a SWimmer).

If it once had legs (or in some cases, you can get the legs), you can eat it at the Wisconsin State Fair (and you can usually find it on a stick).
Jib has just how big beer is up here over on his blog. We've even forgiven Old Style and Pabst for abandoning Wisconsin :-)

Nobody told me; I may well have entered if I knew about it.
Seriesly, unless I broke the cameras (a distinct possiblity; trust me on this), there should be a couple of group shots floating around shortly.

About the fire...JJ hit the wall hard but the car went to the bottom and into the pits like it was on a wire. couldn't tell anything was wrong with JJ. When he stopped in the pit every one went to him and they didn't notice the fire except Chad Kanus who went to him and started getting him out. It was only then that they saw the fire and had problems pulling the hood pins. It was a little like Jr's fire except much smaller. Time stood still...

Not my camera (it's a bit big for just slipping into the pocket and lugging around a crowd).

Crew was working to get him out of the car and some just popped the hood up. As TB said, they could have aimed the extinguisher through the opening at the windshield or even where the hood was crumpled up above the fender. Have seen people get their face roasted doing this.
Think the shuttle will swing by here? I could get up and go out and wave.

Thanks.
I've only seen one replay where they show Knaus with his head in the window and another guy on the right side and a LOT of smoke coming from the car.
No news yet. Actually Nascar Victory Lane was taped after the race.
They did just show when he stopped in the pits and one of the crewmen jumped on the hood to get to the other side of the car. You could see the fire under the hood from the in car camera. Wow.

They let JJ sit a minute before interviewing him and he still had that glazed over look in his eyes. If it's not a concussion, he was knocking on the door of a heat stroke.
