MY NEW PET PEEVE

I just spent my lunch hour at the grocery store. I was so ticked off by the time I left, I had sweat rolling down my face.

First of all, (and I'm not knocking stay at home mom's) but is the noon hour the ONLY hour in the day that they can schedule hauling their screaming bawling children to the grocery store???? I mean come on... those of us who work 50 hours a week use our lunch hour to get things done, not to tango in the isle trying to get around a passle of "play group" kids on a field trip!

To top it all of... after my $260 worth of groceries, there was no one left to sack them for all the "mommy groups" so I sacked them myself and had to carry them out myself, all so I can get back to work and fume over it.

I think there should be a law against people who don't work to stay out of the grocery store from 11am to 1pm during the week and let us workers have the opportunity to get our stuff done.

Anyway, done venting... like I said I have nothing against stay at home moms as long as they stay at home during the lunch time hours.

He always makes it sound like I'm telling them "go forth, minions & do
my bidding". All I do is sit in a corner of the internet & say "wouldn't it
be funny if... (name something I'd never do myself)" & whichever one
I'm talking to will get a look & go off to see if it can actually be done.

I'll be darned. I think that is weird. "Hey, kids, we're gonna go to the gas station on our next trip! Or maybe even to the dry cleaner!!"

I always thought field trips were to go to places kids don't usually get to go.

But I suppose little kids would be excited to go ANYWHERE with their class.

They tried to teach me to be a boy, some of it worked ( I DID go
chasing other girls with frogs... they were just too... girly)... but over
all, I was the angel compared to them... ESPECIALLY compared to them.
