Dukes of Hazzard. Horrid. Like being forced to watch "Hee Haw" for four hours straight. Save your money. If you are seeing it for Jessica Simpson, watch her video. She spends less time in the movie than in that--for good reason. Worst actress: Jessica Simpson.
I guarantee this movie wins the 2005 Razzie and so does she. More proof that some things from the 70s should never make a comeback.

Wanna relive the 70s? Not in this turkey remake of "The Dukes Of Hazzard". Jessica Simpson is a terrible actress and heck she'll never be Catherine Bach to the fans. It gets a Razzie from Debbie Schlussel. The 70s doesn't have much going for it. Vietnam, Jimmy Carter, the Misery Index, Iran, and redneck moonshiners. No more, please.

Point of order!
Shouldn't Debbie Schlussel threads include many gratuitous pics of Debbie, just like the Michelle Malkin threads?
I vote yes.

If ever there was an excuse to download a movie instead of paying for it. I read somewhere that even the original actors hate it.

Ben Jones definitely does. Some things should just be left well enough alone!

Yeah, those Chevy Vega's rocked. I have a friend who shoe-horned a 327 into one. It was cool.
My sister used to give me a dollar every day to add 3 quarts of oil to her Vega so she could make the 5 mile trip to work.

I saw Sky High with my 7 year old daughter. It was a hoot. Not many movies nowadays that I can take my little girl to and not have to cover her eyes and plug her ears often.

With the bombs like Bewitched and Dukes, I hope Hollywood gets the message. "No more remakes of stupid old TV shows."

Why is Burt Reynolds in this movie remake of a tv series that sort of started as a knockoff of Smokey & The Bandit?

You're right, they are better suited to Broadway.

I resent that remark! What's wrong with Hee Haw?

I'm sure this movie sucks, but it can't be nearly as bad as "Independence Day"
In the voice of Stewie Griffin:
"Oh! I'm Jeff Goldblum I'm going to hook up my Mac laptop into an alien network and instantly write a virus to destroy them all. It's a wonderful thing that they run TCP/IP and that I was able to find their domain server in 30 seconds. Good thing they hadn't yet upgraded to the latest XP security patch."
What a load of pandering B.S that freaking movie was. As nasty as "Dukes" may be it can't possibly be that bad.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HEE-HAW! I enjoyed that show. Certain snotty purple-staters
have biggoted opinions.

I've always thought that Saturday Night Live or MAD TV ought to do a skit -- loosely based on the old "Hee Haw" show -- except this one would be called "Jihad."

I guess Burt's career has fallen so far that he has to remake his remakes. ;)
