Mac wasn't included as one of the two options I listed in my original post. Being on a limited income, the majority of my limited income doesn't afford me the luxury of running down to the corner store to invest in a MAC.
That being said, can you answer my question about whether SpyDoctor should replace Webroot Spy Sweeper?
The free version of Spyware Doctor will remove what it found. At the bottom of the results page, there is a box that says "check all." After you click on it, click the button that says "fix checked" or something like that. I think the difference in the paid version is that it will alert you when you go to a site that will install spyware.
Well Sally, since I don't ever get viruses I can't help you because I don't need all those extra applications. Haven't owned anything but a MAC. Mine is 4 years old and runs like a swiss watch. And it wasn't really that much more expensive.
