Adrian Cronauer ("Goood Morning, Vietnam") on local radio show (Omaha, NE)

Posted on 07/30/2005 7:25:43 AM PDT by melbell

I am listening to a replay of a local radio show here in Omaha, Nebraska, and they had Adrian Cronauer as a guest on the show this morning.

It was so cool hearing him talk about the work he's doing for Military Missing persons and he even said "Goooooooooooooooooooooooood morning, Vietnam!" so we could all hear how he actually did it! It was really neat. It took him about 20 seconds to say it, that's how long he held the "good" out.

He's actually in Omaha today and what they do is they contact all the people in the area they are going to that they know are related to a person who went MIA in a war, and they meet with them each individually to give them any new information that they might have about their missing family members.

I never saw the movie, and I didn't know his name--- but now I do. Thanks.
