Not sure why you think so (unless you refer to the typo).
Christ's sacrifice changed the satanic theology of sacrifice. This struggle is still occuring in many places of the world including right here in the US.

Actually the practice of human sacrifice as a religious rite had died out in the Mediterranean long before Christ and was replaced by the ritual sacrifice of animals and certain plants instead.
