1978 Ford Thunderbird... It was the size of the titanic.

I have a 1977 Mercury Cougar, fine car, would like to get it on the road again. Mom got it new in 1977 and we still have it. I love those land yachts, I think some of the best cars were made then although I'm sure many will disagree. B-)

I dont disagree that it was made well, but getting it in 1988 when I was 16, wasnt exactly very "cool" LOL

One of my best cars was a 1979 Cad Eldo Biarritz:

200,000+ miles, finally retired it (still running strong) in 2000.
