If he raped her, then he should be the one executed. Premeditated, vengeance/mayhem comes a close second to rape, though, agreed....
I'm sure CAIR would gladly be an expert witness...

The story is sparse on the details, details I likely don't want to know anyhow.
If this maiming occurred during the commission of an alleged rape, then the verdict is likely the best that could be delivered. If this was in fact a rape, the alleged rapist will likely be more cautious in the future... If he has such an opportunity..
If this incident occurred after the fact of the alleged rape, then something went bad with the prosecution' case.
I find it is always best to treat women with deference and respect. That way, these things are unlikely to happen.
